Fritos Cream Cheese Roll © 1960

1 pkg. (3 oz.) Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese
1 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. onion (minced)
1 clove garlic (cut in pieces)
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup finely crushed FRITOS corn chips (measured after crushing)

Soften cheese with milk. Add seasonings and form into an oblong roll approximately 1 1/2" in diameter and 7 1/2" long. Chill. Roll in crushed FRITOS corn chips. Serve in slices.

I love Fritos but I'm not a fan of anything with roll in the title unless it's sushi.

I do want some Frito Pie now! :)

Trust me, it's good. Just make sure you wait until the last minute to roll the cheeseball in crushed Fritos, otherwise it gets soggy.

What? No cinnamon rolls? No pecan roll? Maybe if you think of it more as a "cheese ball" instead of a "roll." ;)

And heck yeah, I loves me some Frito pie! I remember the first time I had one was at an elementary pet show/carnival. The stand simply tore the top of the Frito bag off (back when you could still tear them off), ladled in some chili and topped it with finely chopped onions and shredded cheese. Boy howdy! That's some gooood eatin'! :9
